This session will take you behind the scenes of a three‑year journey for a new data quality team, and how they are reshaping the way that data quality is understood, managed and improved across the organisation. What began with inconsistent visibility of data quality has evolved into a scalable, people‑led operating model that is now driving measurable efficiency, risk reduction, taxpayer value — and national recognition. That's the polished AI version. However, this is about people first with process & tooling in close pursuit. We'll explain what it takes to write a successful business case, recruit the right team, select the right tooling, whilst developing new processes and relentlessly focussing on continuous improvement. We strongly believe that the way we work is as important as the outcome of our work. We'll also share some good lessons learned and how to overcome some of the pitfalls we've experienced along the way.
